UPDATE COVID 19: LETTER BY PROF. MALFERTHEINER

Dear EAGEN Council, Members & Supporters:

We regret to inform you that EAGEN PG courses scheduled for March to June 2020 had to be postponed to a later date in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

You will see details in the course listing here on our website. For the Moldavia PG a new date has been confirmed. In other cases new dates will be announced as soon as possible.

The EAGEN will continue its full commitment to the important task of medical education. We are working to assure all EAGEN programs will operate as detailed in the programs.

Thank you very much for your continued support and interest in our education events. Wishing you all good health, positive thoughts and strength in these challenging times.

European Association for Gastroenterology, Endoscopy & Nutrition

The EAGEN, formerly named EAGE, is one of the founding organizations of the contemporary UEGF. The EAGEN has expanded its specialty to further include nutritional aspects in digestive diseases. It is the aim of the EAGEN to present interactive and highly professional teaching events on diseases of the digestive system and to provide educational exchange platforms to further expand and update the knowledge in Gastroenterology. Diseases of the digestive system are complex and often require a multidisciplinary approach. Our goal is to structure our education in connection with specialists of pathology, radiology, immunology, surgery, oncology, nutrition, genetics etc.

Members are eligible for a two-year online subscription of the Digestive Disease Publication. The Digestive Disease magazine is issued by the EAGEN and it is focused to publish lectures.

EAGEN is collaborating with the H S I on joint public awareness events for stomach health and the World Stomach Day.
